1. ELECTRICAL WORKSHOP COORDINATOR CUM INSTRUCTOR
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To teach basic electrical system (1-phase electrical home wiring) / wiring knowledge and skill for any installation
- To teach proper safety procedures and legal code regarding the installation of electrical systems
- Planning of schedules and activities to minimize downtime in the workshop. Delegating tasks and prioritizing work schedules for teaching, repairs and maintenance
- Communicating with clients or employers or team members about task, assignment or project expectations and goals
- Managing and reporting workshop incidents and safety breaches Maintaining a clean and safe workshop, its tools and machineries. Ensuring compliance with OSHA policies
- Collaborating with other team members in the workplace on budgeting and allocation of funds
- Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the task or assignment is delivered on time, on budget, to specifications and up to expected standards
- Organizing or source for quotation of third-party providers and suppliers for workshop and training tools and materials
- To oversee in-house maintenances and repairs related to wiring
KELAYAKAN:
Untuk memohon, bakal calon perlu pastikan mereka memenuhi semua kriteria kelayakan yang ditentukan oleh majikan. Untuk jawatan yang ditawarkan oleh syarikat ini, kelayakan asas adalah seperti berikut:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, strive for accuracy and ability to solve problems
- Having a Vocational Training Operation (VTO) certificate is preferred
- Knowledge in Refrigeration & AC Mechanics is preferred
- Possess sufficient knowledge and skill in wiring for any installation
- Possess sufficient knowledge of first aid, resuscitation and treatment electrical shock
Education and Experience:
- Diploma of Competency in Electrical (Wireman PW4) is highly required
- Possess intermediate or level 3 Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) certificate;
- Have three years or more practical industry experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field and a strong background in analog electronic circuits and systems, power electronics, and/or electronic materials
- At least 1 year working experience with an Electrical Contractor who is registered with the Energy Commission after holding SKM for a period of 1 year
- Three years or more experience preferred.
