Responsibilities:-
-Responsible to ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
-Responsible for the planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
-Responsible to overseeing all kitchen operations.
-Responsible to coordinate with kitchen staff, and assist them as required.
-Responsible to trained staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
-Responsible for the stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
-Responsible to ensure safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
-Responsible to create and propose to the Management for the new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
-Keeping up to date with industry trends.
Requirements:-
-Culinary certification or degree from a culinary school preferred.
-2-3 years food service or restaurant experience required.
-Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.
-Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
