Job Description:
Purchaser:
* Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
* Research potential vendors
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery
* Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
* Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
* Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
* Prepare cost analyses
* Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Storekeeper:
* Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
* Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
* Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
* Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
* Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
* Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
Job Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent
* Required language : Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English.
* Must have at least 1 year of working experience in related field
* Required skill(s) : Microsoft office, Teamwork, independent
* Candidate who possess knowledge & experiences in furniture industry is an added advantage.
